The Curtin University Courtyards project involved concept design of three existing Curtin courtyards. The sites were identified as critical gathering spaces and access corridors requiring upgrades. The B407 Courtyard was then identified to proceed with funding allocated.
The B407 Courtyard design has been guided by the Curtin Masterplan Design Guidelines Report, the Academic Heart Report and the Curtin Place Activation Plan.
The courtyard has become a newly activated space for students and staff and provide a new critical cross site link all within a new and contemporary design language that is consistent with the adjacent Substation and Nursing landscape projects.
