REALMstudios, part of the team delivering the world’s tallest hybrid timber tower and Western Australia’s first carbon negative building, worked closely with Grange Developments and architects Elenberg Fraser to pioneer an integrative multivalent response. At the outset, C6 takes a regenerative position; drawing upon pre-settlement landscapes and integrating productive gardens, to challenge preconceptions of high-density liveability.

C6 features a publicly accessible 2000sqm+ split level, open-air community space hosting; a playscape, discovery zones, public art, food production and F&B offerings. Equivalent in size to over 85% of the site, it is gifted back to the community: envisaged in part as a ‘tower-to-plate’ urban farm, part as an immersive education hub, both with focus onsensory experience.

With almost 3,500 sqm of planted landscape comprising; a hybridised interpretation of Banksia Woodlands and freshwater spring ecologies once characteristic of the landscape, plus 1600sqm+ of communal wellness amenity and rooftop space, C6 represents a paradigm shift in high-density residential outcomes.“

C6 has been submitted to council for planning approval,
with the building earmarked to launch in the market next
year.
