Through a collaborative community and stakeholder engagement process, the Hilton Park Precinct Masterplan outlines a comprehensive, exciting, and achievable plan for revitalizing existing sporting assets into ‘Community Parkland,’ aiming to deliver broader social and ecological outcomes.

The project was initiated as part of Council’s effort to renew and activate suburban amenities, and emerged through discussions with local clubs, highlighting issues
with ageing, inaccessible, and non-compliant facilities. It aims to address these challenges and meet the needs of a growing, evolving community.

Located on the eastern edge of Beaconsfield, Hilton Park is one of the largest open spaces managed by the City of Fremantle, covering approximately 19 hectares. The Masterplan reflects the aspirations of local sports clubs, key stakeholders, and the broader community. Through formative engagement, a shared vision was developed, resulting in a community-supported Place Plan and Masterplan Report.
