City of Canning call EOI for Public Artist(s) for Willetton Sports Precinct
As part of the REALMstudios master plan for the Willetton Sports Precinct and rollout of consecutive construction phases (Stage 2 Skate Plaza about to commence) a significant public art brief has been released by the City of Canning in partnership with Arts in Place (Jenny Kerr) and REALMstudios.
The brief features multiple works, one of which is a 155m long pavement artwork/graphic that creates a strong central axis to the precinct. Another key element is artistic design of two skate board escape barriers as part of the skate plaza being delivered with Skate Sculpture. The total budget for all works is: $130,000
